DELocated in a quiet neighbourhood, quite clean and easy check-in. Lots of space in the apartment.
Very weird room setup - there's a huge open space which can't be used for anything, meanwhile the bedroom feels like a cave and the bathroom is *tiny*. It could also really use some better lighting and touched up in terms of furniture and decorations.
USUSVery convenient location with bus stop within a reasonable walking distance. Gorgeous night views of DC in a nice established neighborhood. Free private parking was awesome. The rooms were very clean. I don’t wear shoes in my house either so I appreciated this rule.
The small dorm size refrigerator did not get cold. The apartment is very sparsely furnished.

BEI stayed in the apartment for two days. Its super close to the center. i think 15-20 minute drive to the Capitol. I really like the no shoes in the house rule which made me feel like at home. I am Muslim and this helped me alot for routine practices. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was warm and nice. Very smooth check inand out, plus fast internet. A day before my friend who i was visiting told me that he can book a new accomodation at a hotel rather than taking risk however I had a wonderful stay and i would again book the apartment for the next stay. I would be surprized if you can find a better deal for the price in the same proximity to the center.
USI could not stay after the first few hours due to a heavy smell of smoke and incense burning in the main house upstairs. I am presently working with Booking.com and the owner to get refunded.
When I arrived there was smoke in the space. The smoke was coming from the main house upstairs. Someone was burning incense in an attempt to mask cigarette smoke. I had to leave almost as soon as I arrived and find a hotel with a non-smoking room. I ended up being sick for a day after this experience because I have asthma. I am presently working with Booking.com and the owner to be reimbursed. If I am not reimbursed, I will count this as one of the worst rental experiences of my life. I've never had to leave a place due to smoke. And my fun trip to DC has now cost me more than I could afford. The owner has tried to claim that what I smelled was an Glade plugin. Does Glade make a cigarette smoke and incense plugin?
