Oudomphone Guesthouse 2

Great location for exploring the town. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Short drive to the border. Lovely helpful staff arranged take away breakfast for our long travel the next day. Lovely family run place.

Room in need of deep clean and some renovations. Very basic but did the job for one night stay.

- Good location - Helpful staff - Ability to order food for the slow boat

- Bathrooms had a bad odor - Room could be cleaner

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Also nice that you can eat your meals at the restaurant of the guesthouse and that they can prepare food for take away. It is right in front of the office of the Gibbon Experience.

The WiFi connecting is bad. The toilet was close to breaking down.

the room and bathroom were clean and spacious, the host was lovely and helped order us a taxi to the bus stop, it was close to lots of good food and drink places, the window onto the street had a nice view of the neighbourhood

the only thing that i could fault is that we booked a double room and were given a twin instead. its something we could have requested to change but wasn't too much of a bother for us

Nice old colonial building. The room was clean. Good hot shower with good pressure. Friendly staff. Quiet at night, so I had a good sleep. This town caters to the one night slow boat tourist so all the hotels are pretty basic.

No kettle or coffee and tea making facilities. Also, there is no fridge in the room.
