Natural bungalows

The owner was very nice, he contacted me a guy with Tuk Tuk who spoke English at a good price and gave me a lot of useful information. He also cooks very well !

The owner is incredibly nice, friendly, speaks great English and is always in a nice mood. He is also a great cook, the food was really good. Even though the rooms are very simple and rustic, they were very clean. You can rent a bycicle or a motorbike for a really cheap price. All in all, a great cheap place to stay.

It is a bit further away from the center then what the adress says, although that is perfect for some relaxing time away from the rush. There is no AC in the rooms, instead there is a fan, so prepare to be very hot and sweaty during the night. There isn't any bug nets on the bed, so prepare to fight some small insects in the night, strangely enough no mosquitoes though.

The bungalows are about a 10 minute $2 tuktuk ride from town in a semi rural area. The owner is friendly, speaks English, and is happy to offer advice and make bookings for you. He is a very good cook and the meals were inexpensive and delicious. The rooms are big enough with their own bathroom and are clean. Given the price of the rooms everything is quite basic without any frills but for us, a couple in our mid 60's, it was perfectly adequate and very authentic. Scooter hire is $5 per day and evening meals average $3. They have a laundry service and free reliable wifi and filtered water. There is a nearby village if you want to eat out. The setting is quiet, crowing roosters aside, and they grow lemon grass, basil, and morning glory in the surrounding fields where a few cattle are kept. Highly recommended for budget travellers.

The host is a very nice kind guy. He speaks good English and manages both the hotel and restaurant. The place is basic but for the money paid is excellent value. He has scooters, lunch, snacks and cold drinks and all the basic needs of a tourist looking to stay away from the big city.

very friendly and comfortable

The property has a beautiful light in the morning. The rooms are very basic but that reflects in the price! The host organised us bikes, a taxi and was always around if you needed something. The food was tasty and a good price too. We had a really great stay here and extended it an extra night. Cycling around Kampong Cham was really lovely. Also the WiFi was really great (online meetings passed without a delay).

Beautiful natural area close to the river and shops. Fair price and great food. Good vibes and relax.
