It is much nicer in real life than it looks in the photos. The shared baths are lovely and the room is very big and warm.

"Traditional stay in the heart of Nozawa Onsen"

Perfect location, right in the centre of the village and a 5 minute walk to the gondola. The onsen right next door is amazing and it was a great traditional experience.

You can only shower between 5-10pm which didn’t suit us so we used the onsen instead.
