Fureai No Yado Yasuragi

The host and his wife were wonderful and accomodating. We loved conversing through Google translate. The location was prime and very convenient both to town and the slopes. The accomodation was traditional and authentic.

The couple who runs it was very nice, they were welcoming and helped us book a taxi when we needed it. The room was simple but good and the onsen was nice to relax a bit after skiing. The location was great, very close to the cable car and rental shops, and not far from the restaurant area.

The lovely couple that runs the lodging are very kind and hospitable. Location is amazing, minutes away from one of the gondalas. Short walk to the main village. Our twin room was comfortable with two beds and ample storage with a little table and seating area. The heater was very good. Felt like staying with grandparents and would absolutely stay there again.

The breakfast was incredible, the location was great. The staff were so lovely and accomodating. The facilities were exactly what we were expecting but service was delivered with impeccable hospitality and kindness.

Having never slept on traditional futons with tatami mats before, I think we had a little bit of trouble adjusting to the sleeping arrangements (particularly being a side sleeper). Perhaps an option of an additional futon or additional comforter (duvet blanket) for just a little bit of extra cushion (for the hips and shoulders particularly).

The staff are delightful. They helped us out with lift tickets and gave us a little gift on departure. The private Onsen in the basement was an added bonus. The entire place CC was spotlessly clean. It was a short walk to the snow.

For we westerners, the lack of storage space was a challenge. However, you adapt. The room was very traditional.

2-min walk to Nagasaka gondola! Dryer heated room to store your gear overnight :)

Rooms a little small and heater was not very warm so woke up cold some mornings.

close to gondola. spotless. (床褥/被鋪 有曬後的淡淡香味.) nice view. hosts are friendly and really helpful. pantry is good. warm and cosy.

pricey.... must walk up a long and steep road to access, too funny to walk with luggages.
