The hosts were charming and very helpful and friendly. They provided everything needed and more. The location was perfect for visiting the old city. Ascoli is a very beautiful city. Thank you!

While not a very personal, this room fit the bill for an affordable stay in Ascoli Pisceno. The room isn't very big, but it is extremely clean and tidy, and designed to make the most of the space efficiently––with lots of storage for luggage, etc. Easy parking at the nearby parking lot (offered at a discount) made for stress-free travel, and we were met by our hosts who were very gracious and warm. There's a well-appointed kitchen that is also available for shared use, which most people didn't seem to use, but we were able to cook up basic meals with ease. Great location just a few blocks from the main piazza, but also quiet.

The only real bummer about our stay was the hot water was a little unreliable––we would get pretty hot showers in the morning but only lukewarm, very short showers in the evenings when it seemed like other people in the building were also using it. The bathtub was fantastic, but as a result of the sporadic/limited hot water we couldn't really use it. Our hosts were very responsive in checking things out when we reported the issue, but there wasn't much they could do about it since it was a building issue. Also, the AC situation is a little funky. It's a portable unit but there isn't a way to pipe the exhaust out without leaving the windows open. Luckily we didn't have any trouble with mosquitoes at night, but it definitely was not energy efficient and we had to keep the shutters pulled down to help hold the exhaust pipe in place. The room stayed cold enough, but it felt a little absurd to use it considering how much AC was just blowing outside.
