The Banana House

The staff are super nice and will help you with everything you need. The room looked lovely when we arrived and the garden is really well taken care. This is a simple accommodation, we only stayed one night. It’s close to a restaurant and a little local store. If you want they can also make breakfast for you.

The walls are really thin and we could hear everything from the other room and from outside. Bed was not that comfortable and the bathroom could be in a better shape.

The staff is super nice and helpful with attractions and everything you need. The rooms are comfortable and the location is quiet. 10 mins ride to the center and the harbor

The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The staff were very helpful, organising a taxi from the boat, renting us out a scooter straight away and also helping us get ferry tickets and transport to the ferry on our way out. Had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend.

Let's start with the fact that the place was advertised on Booking.com. Trusting such an advertisement wouldn't have been the best decision. I looked at the google reviews, and Turkish people wrote that they really liked it. Another lesson for me, in addition to not trusting Booking.com, is not to trust Turks. There are breakfasts available, it’s nice, but I don't recommend the noodles. Pros: - Comfortable large bed. - Spacious room with a table and a small wardrobe. - Initially, a friendly and responsive young girl who checked me in offered coffee, a bike, and breakfast. - Clean bed linens Thank you for what you did for me, I appreciate care. But I had my opinion anti place and location.

Cons: - If I hadn't seen the advertisement, I wouldn't have checked in, and a crazy worker from the Father Bistro cafe on the corner wouldn't have attacked me. When I really needed help and asked the girl at the hotel for the police phone number because neither 112 nor the phone from Google worked, she said she didn't know the police number. That's very strange because if something happens at the resort, who will she call? Her mother? I could have been killed in the alley, and she didn't give me the first aid phone. I'm sure she was covering for that psycho. Just like the police because I reported him, but they didn't even let me sign a statement. - Very strong smell of sewage. They put mothballs, but the mothballs also smell disgusting. I had aromatic sticks, and I burned them to mask the smell. - Pillows. Open the pillowcase and look at the pillows. They are black with mold; you can't sleep on them because you'll be breathing in black mold spores. It's deadly for asthmatics. I bring my own latex pillow with me. But I didn't even put the pillowcase from that "infected" pillow on mine. - I was offered a bike, but I found worn-out tires on it. That means zero traction on the road. In Nusa Penida, where there are continuous hills and sharp turns, it's a crime to give a guest a faulty bike. Worn-out tires are a violation of traffic rules. - Very noisy local neighbors. On the first day, I had to ask for help from the hotel staff to calm them down and get some rest from the journey. They were shouting, probably having a party, and laughing loudly. In short, very unpleasant neighbors. - The resort seems to be in the wrong place; on Google Maps and Booking.com, it has a slightly different location, but not too far. Overall, I don't recommend staying in that area. It's better to be closer to the sea.

We were in Thailand and Malaysia before and this was the best stay we had so far. So nice and friendly stuff and a very very comfortable accommodation. All clean, it was a 10/10 stay.

The staff is absolutely awesome. The owner came to pick me up at the harbour with the scooter and she did everything she could to help me with anything

Not a lot of hot water for the shower (approx. 3 mins)

staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and were very accomodating in all aspects. so friendly, inviting and helpful. we had a great time here. zero complaints. thank you banana house!
