Location.

The room was full of dust, bed linen not changed dirty. Very unhygienic.

The room was great with the balcony . Hot showers and great AC. Location was perfect, short stroll to the beach . Hired a scooter to get round and went to Auroville, What an amazing place . Went to the local gym for 300 rps for the week .

Dirty rooms

The location was good, but not exactly in the French older part - more mixed area a bit noisy and dusty. Sat TV worked well, lots of channels WiFi- good Nice decor in some rooms Old world feel but building is quite new Bed was firm Rustic decor Staff were trying against the odds to please.

The bathroom needs an update - replace fittings Balcony had cracked tiles, older furniture Could have been cleaner, I had to clean the aircon as dusty and the wall too Seems a problem with short staffed and cleaning is a bit barely there. No rooms cleans unless you ask for it Owner is not there and is not giving the staff enough help or money to maintain the place properly - it's a shame as it's a nice idea this place Only takes cash - which is common but annoying in India. Staff had poor English, only the duty manager spoke well. I think you can get better if you want Western standards in the city centre more closer in Overpriced for the room types NOISE in both internal rooms ( family chatter is loud) street noise is high - traffic and birds

Unclean , mosquitoes, smelling bad, unattended! Nobody cares! AC not working!
