quiet, lovely hosts

We were on the top floor so was a bit of a trek and the room was a bit tight but I did book the small double so matched its description.

Breakfast was good value - well cooked and wide variety Beds were very comfy Plenty of hot water good supply of tea, coffee and bottled water in the room staff were very friendly, welcoming and gave lots of ideas of things to do

The hosts took time to talk to you.the room was so big and the bed was so large I lost the wife for the whole weekend.breakfast was excellent more than enough for me . location for the open air theatre only couple of minutes walk and also free car parking overall stay excellent

A great location , especially if you’re attending the open air theatre and with access to Peasholm Park a short walk down to the front Tea making facilities in the room included bottles of water which is a bonus , rooms were very clean , breakfast was delicious and the host was very welcoming offering us a hot drink on arrival

From the moment we got to the Gordon we were made to feel at home. A brew after a long drive made by the wonderful owner. The location was spot on as we were visiting the open air theatre.the room was comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the freshly cooked breakfast was amazing. All in all a wonderful stay.

Everything from checking in.A warm friendly welcome on our arrival.Provided refreshments after our journey. The ease of parking.Making Everything stress free and nothing too much trouble. Good location for Peasholme Park.The extra little touches make it feel a home from home. Will definitely be returning very good value for money with a excellent breakfast to set you up for the day.Highly recommend.Lovely family run hotel.
