Great location with parking and very comfortable bed

The fridge had been turned off so had to wait for it to chill and it was hot weather so we worried about the food we had brought

Exactly what we were looking for the location was perfect

It was basic, which is what we wanted. Good value and a good base from which to explore. Nice that it’s not down in the midst of everything in Bowness, but still close enough to walk to the lake, to buses, to Windermere, and to some hikes. It was also well equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, air fryer, kettle, fan, and toaster. That meant we had plenty of facilities to make breakfast and a packed lunch to take out on hikes. The parking was super useful and easy to navigate. Check in and check out were very straight forward.

It’s not somewhere to spend an evening ‘in’, as it’s fairly small and there’s not much natural light. But that was fine, because we weren’t there for evenings in! It got a bit stuffy and humid, which is partly due to its small size and partly due to the surprisingly warm weather. A good quality fan was provided, which helped.

Good location with own parking. Comfortable studio room with everything you could need for a short stay. Good communication before and during the stay.

Lovely and clean with everything we needed.

I would off liked some bath sheets as the towels were on the small side.

As soon as we arrived our host, Martin, gave me a call and gave us a heads up on the best places to go. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, we even had an air fryer to use, that in itself is a novelty. All in all it was perfect. Thank you for having us.

The property was great and close to Windemere Lake etc. The kitchenette worked well and the free carpark was wonderful!
