Each room was like an exhibition. We were surprised about the collections of the souvenirs from many countries and owner's hard work to decorate every room.

The rooms were a bit too cold.

Host was lovely chap, cottage was quirky and charming, very quiet until 7am when the traffic started but it's on a busy road, use of facilities which are above average and the garden is gorgeous

Bit cramped with regards the twin room but it's an old property built when people were far smaller and the period character, personally, negated that however I have to point out for older or mobility compromised guests, this place is not going to be suitable

Keith, the host, is very hospitable. Nothing is too much trouble. He lives on site, so he is always at hand for any questions. The cottage is traditional and charming with a beautiful garden. Secure parking is an added bonus in this busy area. Toby carvery, chip shop, and Morrisons is a short walk away.

The only issue for me personally was that the bathroom was downstairs and away from the bedrooms.

You need to be flexible to negotiate the low ceilings and narrow, winding stairwell.
