Nice hotel and very helpful staff!

Nice friendly guest house near the ancient city. Room stylish and clean, and feshly painted. Comfy bed comprising 2 mattresses, but the mosquito net (which was necessary) wasn't big enough and was on a pivot bracket which easily moved so both sleepers weren't fully covered. No tea and coffee facilities Breakfast was OK, we did order SL breakfast but were given western breakfast - bit of a disappointment. Dinner there - good 4 veg curry and rice. No other restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Bike hire - old bikes but great to have so a huge plus. Lovely cycling around the wonderful religious site.

There was a smell of drains in the bathroom so we left the window open to get rid of this. Only problem is then all the mosquitos came in. Fan not working in our room, so had to put Aircon on all night, which isn't ideal. Tip: the downstairs rooms have an outside terrace with table and chairs and garden view. Ours was on first floor and didn't have this.

Staff is really kind. Facilities are OK, completely aligned with price. Breakfast is very complete and good. Totally recommend the Ancient City Tour. The guide was absolutely amazing, explaining everything, respecting the times. It was one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka so far.

It was a nice place to stay close to the temples.

If you want to eat somewhere else nearby there is nothing.

Licht im zimmer ist viel zu grell.

La posizione vicino alla città antica. La gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff. Stanza semplice ma pulita e dotata di aria condizionata. Io ho anche cenato e devo dire che si mangia molto bene
