Hotel Michaela

Have stayed here previously. Best hotel in Ramstein for comfort, accessibility to ramstein airbase, running trails, and a terrific swimming area 400m away. Staff very friendly, very comfortable bed and big room.

What a terrific surprise, this hotel is a gem (value, comfort, size, location). I had a 2 night layover and was looking for a highly rated hotel with a reasonable to low price. Big room, excellent staff, easy check-in, comfy bed, TV with a ton of channels, cool lamps. Woods close by to run/walk. 7 min walk to ZOB/main bus station-train station; 8 min walk to Edecka/food store. No lift/18 steps but no issue for me. Table for 2 with chairs, very nice. Hotel room had to be new or refurbished, so nice. About 3 km to Ramstein AB. Azur pool/sauna with hourly aufguss is only about 1/2 km away- small but super nice for a sunday afternoon.

Walking distance to what we needed. Train close by.

No hot water pot in room for tea/coffee.

The owner managers were very nice

No breakfast, there was a place but it was close, location close to the base and that was about it.

To call the place a Hotel is a bit too much, toilet was not working correctly, flushing mechanism was patched to make it manually work and shower head all loose. No AC and we had to sleep with the patio door open to get fresh air, asked in advance about the AC and the mentioned that there was one. Breakfast was an option that had to be order in advance the night before, not a real place with coffee or anything else, don't understood the fact that some reviews mentioned the breakfast experience since there was none. Not recommended unless you are just passing thru and don't have any other place to stay.

Close to Airbase

The beddings were very uncomfortable. The pillows were very soft. Felt like you had no pillows at all.
