Location, Affordability, and Convenience.

Excellent standard German breakfast of brotchen, meat, cheese, orange juice and coffee or, in my case, hot chocolate. All the breakfast condiments of butter, jelly and Nutella. I couldn't have asked for anything better. A really nice covered porch with a view of the garden in back and chairs and a table was just across the hall through another door. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and had great water pressure in the shower. This was a single room. Very helpful owners with a good command of English.

Actually, nothing. The hotel is on a quiet side street just a hundred meters away from the high school but that caused absolutely no problems with parking or noise. Just what I was looking for. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. But I wasn't looking for one. The whole idea of the trip was to enjoy the food as much as time with friends and visiting.

Clean and comfortable room, larger than most budget rooms. Had a large bathroom and a table and chairs, plus a dresser! Internet was always available and fast. I was able to get a ham and cheese sandwich with coffee the next day from their kitchen instead of having to go anywhere or lunch. There is a great Mexican restaurant 10 min walk away that is open to late on Sundays and other food places are open and just a short walk away during the week. Plenty of parking out front too if you get a rental car like I did.

I arrived on a Sunday after they "closed" so I couldn't tell anyone that I wanted breakfast, which is their policy. But the next morning I went for a 40 min walk to Ramstein AB and had a big (American) breakfast at the BX food court. Also, if you arrive after they're closed, they put the keys in a marked bag and then in the enclosed newspaper section under their mailbox. Since Americans normally don't experience not having anyone great them at US hotels it was difficult to understand where the keys were waiting. I guess it's a normal thing in Europe but it made for an awkward arrival. Still, I finally figured out where they put the keys (I couldn't understand what they were saying through the speaker) and the rest went great. Small glitch but still a great place to stay.

My room was clean and had all the basics. The location is good. If you don't expect luxury, this hotel is good value for money.
