Excellent stay here. The host is a very nice lady willing to help with anything, nice comfy little bungalow and the pool was perfect after a long day exploring. Location great, only 5 minute walk to main street.

Perfect Riverside Retreat in Kanchanaburi. Our three-night stay at Jim Guesthouse was everything we hoped for. Situated on the peaceful side of the river, the guesthouse offers a serene escape from the bustle of Kanchanaburi while still an easy 10 minute walk into town. The standout feature is the refreshing pool, which was a welcome sight each afternoon. However, what truly makes this place special is the warm hospitality. Jim treats guests like family, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Her thoughtful and caring approach made our stay so much better. She helped us with transportation and side excursions to Erawan, and restaurant recommendations too. The guesthouse's resident dog, Money, adds an extra touch of charm to the experience. Breakfast was consistently excellent, starting each day on a high note. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a personal experience in Kanchanaburi with the perfect balance of comfort and authentic Thai hospitality. Thank you.

Jim is an excellent host. She provides ideas for excursions, helps with organising transportation and so on. The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighbourhood, just 10 minutes walk to the main street. All required comfort is available in the bungalows.

A softer mattress would be highly appreciated.

Tv was a bit too high to plug in to use. As there is a kettle in the room cups and tea / coffee would add to our overall experience

Incredibly clean and comfortable room. The pool was a bonus at the end of a busy day. Above all Jim was so helpful. She speaks good English and was always available. We had a very early check out . She organised the tuktuk and she got up to see us off. We had dinner there on our last night and wished we’d eaten there more as the food was exceptional (we had the curry)- the best meal we had in Kanchanaburi.
