The property is sparkling clean, very well equipped kitchen, where you can find anything you need. Ester was exceptional: she showed us around, gave as great tips of coffee shops and other activities in Tromso. But the best thing is that we were able to observe the northern lights all 3 nights of our stay from the balcony of the house. It’s unforgettable experience.

Not what we didn’t like but the location is hard to reach on public transport - we didn’t hire a car - so just a note to say you will need rely on Ubers. Ester the host was amazing with local knowledge and we did find a bus stop about a 45 min walk near the supermarket

Very friendly host (Esther) who is willing to help. Free parking space. Facing waterfront. A very nice grocery near-by (not the usual ones/may be the best in Tromso- ask the host, 5min out). Separate bedroom with useful water pressure on the shower. Kitchen was well equipped. Useful outside picnic table if weather allows. Very near to the airport (10min) and about 20min drive to Tromso central. Located in a separate island, very quiet and peaceful. We saw aurora activity there as well.

Driving in-and-out was a bit tricky as there was much snow in the driveway on the day we stayed. Bedroom was on the small side. Do not bring too much from your car, there is no space for two luggage.

המארחת, אסתר, מאוד נדיבה ועוזרת בכל דבר. המיקום על שפת האגם היה מיוחד ביותר. הביקתה היתה מאובזרת, נקיה, חמה ונעימה כ- 15 דקות משדה התעופה.

Super komfortowy i absolutnie we wszystko co trzeba wyposażony apartament dla przykładu w kuchni jest lodówka na wino oddzielna dla białego i oddzielna dla czerwonego, 😮 a także oddzielna szafka na przyprawy gdzie było około 30 różnych przypraw. Wygodne łóżko w sypialni wielki salon oddzielna jadalnia dla 6 osób. Pralka suszarka, wielki taras z krzesłami i największy hit zewnętrzne jacuzzi co prawda dodatkowo płatne ale wtedy masz je na wyłączność. My wzięliśmy na wszystkie trzy noce i co noc oglądaliśmy zorzę z jacuzzi przy -10 stopniach. To było warte każdej ceny. Do tego gospodarze bardzo życzliwi i pomocni. Mamy nadzieję że uda nam się jeszcze tam wrócić. Dziękujemy Esther za wszystko

The views were incredible from inside and outside the rooms. If lucky with the clear sky you can see the aurora / Northen Lights from the comfort of your room or the patio/outside area. Esther was great, accommodating and offered airport pick-up /drop off at extra cost. Accommodation has all utensils required, just bring your groceries. I loved the accommodation and hope to book again in the future. Can't recommend this accommodation enough.

We had an incredible stay on Hakøya Island, Tromsø. The house was cozy, warm, and had everything we needed. The highlight was being able to see the Northern Lights right from the property, overlooking the Arctic Circle – absolutely magical. Perfect location for a peaceful escape with unforgettable views.

Super small, advertisement can be misleading.

The accommodation has everything you need, kitchen, laundry, TV, wifi. Esther is very helpful and attentive. The view from the house is nice. Love everything throughout our 4 nights stay.

There's a bit of distance from the city centre, might be inconvenience if you do not have a car. But there's a bus stop nearby.
