Great location, everything you need on site, possibility of observing the Northern Lights,

Peaceful place with great view if you want privacy and away from the city the kitchen has all the stuff you need especially great coffee macjhine and washing machine and dryer helped a lot

You definitely need a car but if you want nature and peace that’s the place The only problem I could find if I have to write sth the bed is not the comfiest bed

The location is great, not too far from Tromso's main Island. Remote, therefore not too much light pollution. Snug cabin with reasonable space for 2 people. Great Wifif, TV and fridge, and cutlery and plates provided for food. Good parking area as well

The property did not come with a kitchen, which is what is explained, however the plates and bowls were not microwave friendly, therefore we had to buy a microwaveable dish to heat/cook any food. Out of personal preference, we would have liked the host to be there when we arrived, to show us any extras about the property and be more welcoming, i.e. tools for cleaning the outside stairs of snow, where wood or equipment was to make a fire, and a bucket or bowl for washing up

151 is a beautiful lodge with fabulous views and only a 20 min drive from the centre of Tromso. I would say you definitely need a car in order to truly explore the area. I brought basic condiments with me (salt, pepper, ketchup etc.) but there was already plenty there. I also brought tea coffee and sugar which was also already there. The grocery stores are closed on a Sunday, so if you arrive on a Sunday, try to get some basics such as milk and bread before you leave the airport.

There is nothing not to like about this lodge, it is gorgeous.

Amazing views, amazing host, and you have everything you need for a nice stay right on the water with the majesty of the fjord and some easy snow foot trails right at your doorstep. Ester is a kind and people loving person and is willing to be there for anything you need.

The place is remote from the city which means you have to rent a 4x4 car in winter (and know how to drive on possible ice), or pay for shuttles to the city and back, and that you must drive to the nearest supermarket (in winter) which is 3 km away and walk 4 km to the nearest bus station.

Loved the property. You couldn’t get anymore picturesque if you tried.

The location provided great views of the Northern Lights; and in the comfort of a fully functional home with heating, space, cooking, dining, with washer and dryer. I was wowed with the huge refrigerator with lazy Susan function. They also had an observation deck in front of the lake with proper chairs and fire pit as an option while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear…or just stay in the comfort of the bigger house. The host was also very helpful and extended help to make our stay really comfortable and memorable. She would even let us know when the northern lights probability would be..and give alerts. 10 out of 10 rating well deserved.

Nothing to dislike. Note that it is far from the city. As we don’t drive, transport arrangements were made either with the host, Esther, helping out or a taxi as an alternative. Our host was very helpful with transport arrangements. Just budget for transportation cost.
