Popeye House

One of the most comfortable beds we've had in three months of travel in southeast asia! Super cute little house with lots of thoughtful touches. A bit far from town, but we had scooters so no problem there. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming bungalow in Tiny house style. The room was incredibly spacious. We also appreciated the free instant soup and kettle provided, as well as the small restaurant guide – it was a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Another unexpected but welcome surprise was the free mosquito spray that was available for guests to use. But what really made our stay unforgettable were the warm hosts and their lovely dogs. The dogs were part of the team and looked after the guests with such care and attention. It was heartwarming to see their dedication to ensuring that everyone had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. The thoughtful amenities, charming decor, and warm hospitality of the hosts and dogs truly set it apart from other accommodations.

The mattress was a bit too hard for me.

the staff was so lovely and they put a lot of effort into setting up (there is, for example, a restaurant guide, free mosquito repellent, a little something to eat). It is worth 1000 times the money!

Great little spot. Nothing extremely special, but good value for money.

The bed wasn't very comfortable at all, and the blanket wasn't nearly warm enough for us in the night. (February) Also, it was a bit farther out of the main city than we realised.

Overall everything, the stay was absolutely perfect and I loved all the small amenities that you had in the room (head dryer, mosquito repellent, hand sanitizer, complementary water and instant noodle soup). It can be difficult to move around without a scooter but if you have your own transportation, the city center is only 8mins away.

The pillows could have been softer but nothing that was really a problem for me

Very quaint home stay just outside of the town.
