"Very good"

Location was good, the staff were nice. The bunk beds were roomy, and the rooms were warm. The kitchen was well-equipped (but could be cleaner). It was fine for the price.

Only 1 shower and 1 toilet for everyone. It was a little dusty, and the common areas were quite cold.

Incredibly welcoming. We were cycling and arrived early very soggy from the rain. We were welcomed in, offered a shower, all before we had to check in. Clean room and well equipped kitchen. The owner was very welcoming.

The owner is extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. The guesthouse is located in a very small but picturesque Japanese town, and is filled with all kinds of pop culture paraphernalia - you could spend a whole evening examining it. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean!

"Such a magical place!"

The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.
