We had a wonderful overnight stay in this little spot of paradise. Loved all the antiques that were converted into lamps and other decor. The gardens were lovely and atmosphere peaceful. Good location off the main road. Thank you to Megan and Ilana our wonderful hosts.

"Good for backpackers or campers perhaps - we won't be back!"

The accommodation did not meet our expectations.

Summertime in Prince Alfred is very hot - it was about 40 deg C on the night of our stay! There was no AC only one small self standing fan for the three roomed accommodation. We were advised to keep the doors and windows closed due to mosquitoes - so we found the room unbearably hot. The bed mattress had long passed its best by date and jabbed one in the ribs on every turn! The plunge pool did not look clean or inviting.

"We would have no hesitation booking this property again, should we return to Prince Albert."

The hostess and her son were lovely, and very welcoming! The hostess produced a range of homemade products (apricot liqueur; jams and chutneys) which I would love to have purchased, but as we were on a motorbike, we couldn't accommodate them. She was kind to leave us a sample of her delicious liqueur! The room was also well appointed with tea, coffee, rusks, milk, and bathroom products which was a lovely touch.

It would have been lovely to have a shower - the room only had a bath; and unfortunately we were unable to use the mosquito net over the bed as it had holes in it so it wouldn't have been effective.
