Alta Marea Sorrento

Marco the property manager goes above and beyond to ensure you are happy with the stay . Marco is an absolute gem of a person . I would comeback only for Marco’s services. Luigi and team did their best to ensure food and beverage services were taken care. Very well run family unit .

Bathrooms could be cleaner , a little out dated , there was a daily “make your room Service” which was good but doesn’t have deep cleaning due to the remote Location of the property. Mattresses could have been softer .

We loved Marco the best.

Every morning a croissant of your choice and espresso, americano, or cappuccino was provided. The restaurants next door were inexpensive and good. The hotel was right on the beach. Marco the property manager is truly amazing. He is always available by phone or in person and truly wants to help. He is a gem!

Obviously, you are choosing not to stay directly in Sorrento, but it is much quieter and very scenic here plus the property owner can drive you into Sorrento whenever you need it.

The location was great

Having to bother MARCO EVERY TIME we needed a drive to our car .

The staff was amazing. The explained history of the area, gave rides when needed, helped with scheduling times to leave. So friendly. Beautiful little area away from Sorrento. Quiet, peaceful. Would go back in a heartbeat. Breakfast was reasy for us. The restaurant was amazing.

The only thing I wasn't sure was the distance from Sorrento. It was about a 10min ride to Sorrento without traffic but they handled all of that to make our stay the best possible.

Marco was such a great host

The color of the room (green) was too strong.

The host Marco was the most helpful host we’ve ever experienced. He made the whole stay very easy and comfortable. Nice quiet location right next to the beach, everyone very friendly and helped organise all trips for us.

Marco did an extraordinary job driving us to Sorrento and back. We were happy with his advices/suggestions how to make the best use of the 4 days.

There was no issue.

I really liked the area. Very friendly people. The windows of all rooms are with a beach view. The room was very comfortable and clean. Marco was always helpful with everything. He met us at the train station and brought us by car to the hotel, helped us with the tour of Amalfi. Since the hotel is located on the seaside, in order to reach the center of Sorrento, you will need to climb a steep slope. But Marco helped us with this and took us several times to the city center. It was nice trip.

Marco who runs the hotel is amazing. He took time to greet us and is friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us coordinate excursions to the Amalfi coast. He offered to drive us into Sorrento when we needed. He was of service, and helpful when one of our family members became ill. He enhanced our experience. We also enjoyed the daily light Italian breakfast provided. And the property is steps away from the ocean. The St. Rapael restaurant is amazing. Great atmosphere and food.

Taxi's take advantage of you when you are trying to go from Sorrento to the hotel so beware. The bus is a great alternative.
