"Exceptional"

Wonderful location about 30 minutes outside of Kilkenny I. Kilkenny County. The staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The kids loved going for a swim in the river that was literally right out the front door, and walking a bit of the monks trail.

They had to save our butts when we missed the short check-in window. Be mindful that check-in ends at 5pm.

Location & the restaurant which is beautiful

Sadly no dinner. The town admittedly on a Tuesday night in May has two takeaways, a pizza place & Super Valu

Cozy, snug room with a view

No plan for late arrival, doors locked and reception closed. Only recourse is a phone number posted outside but we had not set up cell service yet in Ireland. Critical to pre arrange a system to get into your room.
