Cavalieri D'Oro Luxury House

We arrived a little early but the host arrived within minutes of a phone call. Very clean with good facilities. Great location. Very friendly, helpful host. Would recommend.

Great location. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean as a pin. No dirty carpet like other hotels I've stayed at, rather it was tile. In fact the bathroom was done in marble tile! The view of the beach and the Tyrrhenian sea from the balcony was stunning. The staff was great. They were there to clean the room first thing each morning after you left your room. Security was also very good. The outside door was always locked and you had a key to come and go.

There's no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor so be prepared for a little workout if you're not in shape. They did carry our luggage to the room, so that made things easier. The rooms share a small common area that reduces privacy if all the rooms are occupied. It is a beach town close to Rome so expect parking to be a challenge on the weekends.

It's on the sea while being in the middle of town amidst a selection of highly rated (deservedly so) sea food restaurants. Looks like they are actually serving the local catch of the day when it comes to fish.

It's not actually a hotel but more like a room in an apartment. No breakfast available on the premises but several bars may offer one (brioches, cappuccino) at an extremely affordable rate (2-3 Euro). WiFi internet was down the whole time

Amazing location right at the heart of Anzio. Both sides of the building have an amazing water view. One side overlooks the beach with a view over a beautiful single-story beach restaurant (il Ristorante Alceste), while the other overlooks the port where Laziomar ferry to Ponza docks. I loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the waves and city life of Anzio. We experienced exceptional service provided by the staff.

I didn't dislike anything. I personally loved being able to see all the action in the heart of the town, but if you want quiet tranquillity without any street noise, then this isn't the place for you.

The location was excellent. Right next to the water and a lot of nice restaurants. The owner was so friendly. I wish I could remember his name. His English and our Italian were not very good but we managed to communicate.
