Mavi's bedrooms

Mavis apartments is along a good street, not far from the main square. Plenty of restaurant and shops nearby. The rooms are on the 3rd floor, but easily accessed by lift. There are 2 bathrooms, shared between 3 bedrooms. All rooms have a large fan (no air con) but that is sufficient. There is a microwave, kettle and a fridge, which is handy for light meals, but you can’t exactly cook! Rosearia, who looks after the apartments. Is very friendly and helpful, if needed.

I had an inner facing room, so it did get quite stuffy, but the fan was fine. No mirror in room.

I find most hosts are neutral when dealing with their clients. My experience here in Lucca was enhanced with the assistance from this host.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to bus station and info centre and 10 walk to train station, plenty of food places and shops close by

Worst WI FI I have had anywhere, no hot water for a shower, no plug, no water provided, broken toilet seat, beware the bath is difficult to get in for older people

Lovely host, fantastic location, just inside the walls, 2 minute walk to bus station, 15 minutes to train station, bakery and pizza places on the doorstep, loads of things to see and do here. Comfy room, relatively quiet given that it's on a pretty busy touristy street, good facilities - fridge, kettle and microwave.

Shower wasn't very hot.

Clean bedroom with very caring housekeeper. Excellent location as it is close to the centre Piazza San Michel . It has a lift which is a rarity in Lucca

Nothing really, the room could be noisy from other residents talking too loudly in the passageway

The place is near to lots of restaurants and shops and a few minutes walk to the bus station. The room is clean and spacious, bed and pillows were so comfortable. Toilet is just across the room. Rosaria ia very kind and accommodating as well, she let me borrow her iron.

Location was superb, inside the walled city of Lucca. Close walking distance from all we wanted to see and do. The host was superb, and communication via email and face to face was excellent. The host was very helpful and understanding, especially as we arrived late due to flight delays.

Shower was a bit hit and miss, regulating the temperature and stopping it from flooding the floor was problematic. Being taller, it made the shower difficult to use.
