Hotel Mylos

Personally I think if you don’t want to spend over $200/night but want a Caldera view stay, Hotel Mylos is an excellent choice and in a very popular location. Breakfast was simple but was very good, and I liked how they bring and leave it on your balcony table at a prescheduled time. ***** the balcony view they advertised here is from the upper floor rooms** a bit nicer view if you can request it.

Rooms are outdated and have very basic amenities..Our shower drain was partially clogged so we had to keep turning off and off the water so it wouldnt flood the shower floor.

I booked three rooms as my husband and I were traveling with our adult children. We had a Premier room and they each had standard doubles. I give the Premier room 8 stars as the beds were puny - doubles, not queens, and there were a few things missing that would have made sleep much easier, such as a black-out curtain over the window above the bed and a couple of side lamps instead of one big ceiling light. However, the view from the room and terrace was outstanding, you couldn't ask for a better view! The standard doubles get 10 stars: the rooms seemed bigger (and so did the beds) than the Premier room and had a much better layout. And the shared terrace in front of their room had the same outstanding view and provided a great place to socialise. I'd be inclined to book this room for myself if I stayed there again. The breakfast served was also really nice :)

Great location and friendly staff. The top-level room with a private balcony was an outstanding value for views and privacy. The hotel is steps from Firostefani main square and right by food and gift shops, but in spite of that, there's barely any noise in the room. Town goes quiet at 10pm except for bars area.

Gorgeous amazing view from shared balcony, and quiet/comfortable despite being located on a busy street. Coffee/breakfast super basic but was nice to have delivered to us very promptly at the time requested.

The room was very basic and no frills, and pretty small, which is okay for the money spent as well as the location- we weren’t planning on spending much time in the room anyway. We had some trouble figuring out the hot water but the staff was very accommodating once we brought it their attention so this was our error. The pillows were a bit stiff and the bathroom needs to be renovated, although very clean. Had to keep bathroom door shut to not hear the sound of the restaurant/church in the morning which is close by- this was very minor.

Everything is the same as on the photos or even better! We loved the atmosphere and the spectacular sunset from the terrace. The staff really makes you feel at home, kind, helpful and relaxed. Thank you!

The property was in a great central location overlooking the Caldera. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was lovely. The staff were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
