Nice location, close to all the sightseeing, cafes, and the railway station. The host offers free Italian breakfasts in two bars (we didn't expect this service, and really enjoyed it).

We had a room with a private bathroom, but it was a separate place. A bit uncomfortable.

Nice host, good wifi and easy to reach and close to the train station, it's a flat with more private rooms in the centre of Prato, just a few minutes from the City Hall square and the main attractions. Pretty quiet, though you can easily hear the neighbours sometimes.

Small breakfast available in 2 bars close by, so you have to get dressed and get out, and if you don't eat sweet in the morning, only one of the 2 bars tries to offer you some other solution (Bar Formica, top staff!), while the bar facing the City Hall square has very unfriendly and rude staff.

Excellently placed and street pretty quiet for town centre until people start work in shops underneath, fairly early. Good sized room, clean, bathroom appliances pretty new, shower adequate size. Friendly staff. The property is a bit rough round the edges and see below, but fundamentally all right.

Big step along length of bathroom would make this room unsuitable for anybody frail and bathroom, though for sole use of room, is separate from the bedroom. The linen was ordinary and more pillows needed. The passageway light did not work.

Although this is not the 'traditional' hotel set up, my mother and I had a very pleasant stay and would thoroughly recommend to family and friends. Our flight was delayed from Paris which meant we wouldn't arrive until after midnight but the hotel manager kindly waited up for us to arrive which doesn't often happen in other hotels. They were also extremely accommodating to the fact that we had accidentally double booked the rooms and rather than making us pay full price for the room we didn't need, they offered us a reduced rate which we appreciated. Breakfast was a voucher for tea and coffee at a nearby coffee shop where the staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was very nice. The rooms were clean and the bnb is in the perfect location as it is close to a number of restaurants, St Stephen's Cathedral and the train station. The staff kept in regular contact with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay and we would be more than happy to return again!
