Le Contrade Vico Alba

I like everything about Le Contrade. Mine is Le Contrade Vico Alba in center. They have other branches located near the sea. Next time I will definitely stay in this branch having sea view. What I love the most is the staff team. They are so nice. They are available if I need help. They help me check bus timetable, find italian cooking class for me, etc. I am surprised of how nice they are.

Location is fantastic. Monopoli is stunning. Room was big, bright and very clean, with a lovely small balcony. We were on the top floor but you did get used to the stairs and staff carried our luggage up and down for us. Vanessa loaned us beach towels and beach umbrellas. She sorted private parking for our hire car and a free transfer to local beach club. The staff placed complimentry drinks in our mini fridge as the weather was so warm - this was so very kind!

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the old town! The room was lovely with everything we needed. The staff are extremely attentive and helped us with our luggage up and down all the stairs. There is a lovely rooftop as well, which is a nice place to have a drink and some nibbles as the sun sets- you can see the water from up there too.

Only very minor things- neither of the shower heads (2 of them) were working properly, with water leaking out of them, therefore very poor water pressure. There was also no hot water on the last two days of our stay, but the staff were aware and contacted us to apologise for this. Lucky it wasn’t too much of an issue for us, as the weather was hot anyway.

This was the most amazing location for a visit to the beautiful city of Monopoli. It is right in the heart of the old city, and not too far from free street parking should you need it. We ended up parking on a street about 15 mins walk away, and this would be the furthest you would need to park, with much closer options also available. The staff were absolutely amazing. We experienced the best possible example of a "remote concierge" service, with recommendations being provided within the minute via whatsapp. The room itself was exactly as described. Spacious, with a comfortable bed, with the water pressure and temperature for the shower high. All in all, a perfect stay, and definitely deserves a return visit.

The property is very centrally located. The room was clean and well equipped. The shower was very nice. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The staff was quick to respond.

We had a very big issue with parking. I specifically searched for a property in Monopoli that said it had parking because I know from past trips that the city is busy on weekends and we had to drive in and out to a wedding. Some properties only list public parking, but this listing said parking, not public parking. I asked a week before for the parking garage information and was only provided public streets to park on and then a public lot. When we arrived on Friday evening it took 45 minutes to find a spot. We finally found a spot in the blue lines on the recommended street and then returned in the morning to find out car ticketed and about to be towed for a festival. A phone number was then offered for a private lot with no arrangements made. The property needs to change their listing to remove parking unless they can arrange a specific safe parking space
