Accommodation was excellent. Beautiful house. Enough of everything in bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Splash pool was a lifesaver in the heat. Kids absolutely loved it. Outside braai area really good but think in winter it would be a issue.

Would be great if people know that coming via Citrusdal you need a SUV /4x4 to come over that mountain. Use Ceres instead. Need more mosquito repellent. We did have to deal with the sun spider (very scary looking) which made our last night not so good. Would be good to put a picture up (did not see any). We had 1 under the blankets in our bed so we did not sleep there. The Monopoly game needs to be replaced we were excited to see 1 but when we opened it is incomplete not playable at all and no dice. The umbrella at the splash pool that is on the pictures should be up.

The views are spectacular as always,peaceful and quiet.

The hot tub were dirty and had a water leak,the electricity went off around 10pm and we're off for about 12 hours and more and there were no communication from the host about the electricity problem until I ask them the following day whats the issue with the power then they said that the electricity are off everywhere on the Farm. There were big spiders inside the house and its a understatement to say tgat we killed atlaeast 5 spiders as big as my hands. They could atleast used pest control.

The location was perfect. Quite, nice star gazing. Awesome hikes and rock pools. Accomodation catered for all our needs. You only have to bring your food for you stay.

Immersed in the beautiful mountains, this guest house is truly a hidden gem and the perfect Cederberg getaway. The setting is breathtaking, surrounded by rocks, Bushman rock paintings, and incredible hiking routes that let you fully immerse yourself in nature. There are natural rock pools for swimming, cliff and rock jumping, and peaceful spots to simply take it all in. The hot tub was a highlight—especially at night, under the most beautiful star-filled skies I’ve ever seen. There are wonderful spaces designed for special dinners with friends, and a stunning stoep where you can sit, relax, and soak up the views. The property is surrounded by beautiful fruit trees, and the dried fruit tour was both interesting and delightful—simple, authentic, and uniquely special. Everything feels thoughtfully integrated into the natural surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave.

The setting, surrounded by rugged rock formations, fruit trees, hiking trails, rock pools, and ancient Bushman rock paintings, creates an experience that is both grounding and awe-inspiring. The dried fruit tour was a delightful highlight, and the staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We travelled all the way from Canada, which made this experience even more meaningful, and it was truly an unforgettable stay — the perfect Cederberg escape that we would gladly return to again.
