We enjoyed our stay. Included parking is a short walk away. Well priced compared to other options in the area, only downside is there is a single shower shared between 4 rooms but this wasn't an issue during our stay. Place is kept very clean. Beds are traditional futons. Our room had a sink which was super handy and an area to hang washing. Washing machine was really good for ¥200, there is also a dryer though we didn't need it. Recommend booking the dinner & breakfast, alot of food is provided and it was fresh and super tasty. Nice being able to have a drink at the bar after a day of exploring. We would book direct on their website next time, price is over 1/3 more on here.

"A nice, homely place to stay at, not overrun with tourists"

Such a lovely place, right next to the beach (2 mins walking) with lovely staff and everything decorated & done with style and love. We much enjoyed our stay here. Bonus: we booked the Sashimi dinner and it was beautiful and delicious. The next day we booked the curry for dinner and this was also amazing!

Unique property in a tiny coastal/fishing village. Super friendly staff. Cosy.

Would be great if there was some kind of (paying) shuttle service to and from the train station (otherwise it’s around 20 minutes walk away through a rather empty area).

Amazing cosy atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful (they came and picked me up in a snowstorm). The dinner was also amazing. It is a cute little town well worth the visit.

We stayed 2 nights at Hitotomaru and it was an amazing experience. The hosts are wonderful and so kind, the space they have created is so cozy and comfortable. We felt very privileged to be able to stay there. The breakfast and dinner offered was also very nice and reasonably priced. We were even given a lift to the train station as it was raining. Highly recommend staying there.
