We came to nozawa to ski powder. Awesome location - very close to uncrowded chairlift and ticket booth to take you to Gondola. Hosts were very hospitable and always helpful. The shared bathrooms were always available and very clean. The traditional Japanese rooms gave an authentic experience. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. A wonderful experience.

The staff was very nice and friendly. She accommodated us though we arrived a bit earlier than check-in time. The place itself is nice and warm. Plenty of slippers to change to, there was even a small pair of slippers for my 4 yr old. Room is big enough for 4 of us. There is a big closet. There is a sink for handwashing and brushing. Toilet is clean and well kept. Nice bathroom. There is a vending machine for drinks. There is a drying room for winter gear. There is a small coffee bar that serves drinks, perfect for breakfast coffee fix. Check-in/out was a breeze. Overall, I loved staying at nozawasnow.

The accommodation is located in a nice peaceful area of the village, with an onsen, ski rental, restaurant, café, and access to the ski slopes all only 3 minutes' walk away. I especially recommend checking out the restaurant Tonkichi which is directly opposite, the food there is excellent! There's also a café located at the entrance to grab a coffee and toastie on your way out! The room was exceptional, with underfloor heating and air conditioning, lovely traditional Japanese futons, neatly made on arrival! It was always cozy inside the accommodation and even though the toilets/showers are shared, I never had to wait for one. We stayed in March so the price was reduced due to the season coming to a close, but there was still plenty of snow! Thanks for having us, we hope to stay again!!

Nozawasnow is a nice hotel in a calm area few steps away from nozawa onsen village. The rooms are comfy with tatami mats. Everything’s new and clean. There’s a good kitchen with everything needed. A cute cafe has been settled in the entrance. Easy to go to the lifts on foot and by bus. Easy storage for ski equipment. 100% recommend Tonkichi restaurant across the road. Hosts will be happy to help you. I rented ski equipment at a rental shop just a minute's walk away. It's very convenient. Also, you can stay cheaply in spring, so I recommend staying longer and waiting for good snow to fall. Also good for couples

My favorite hotel in Japan so far! The self checkin was easy. Everything was always clean. Perfect location, as its just a few minutes from the slopes, a nearby onsen and restaurants. The staff was very helpful, answering our questions and helping us with our issues. The room was more than enough for the 2 of us. I specially liked the heated traditional Japanese floor and the beds were comfy. It has a kitchen, drying room and bar-café for early breakfast or afternoon drink. Definitely recommend anyone visiting Nozawaonsen to stay here, you will not regret it. If you want great service, facilities and location, this is it.

My girlfriend prefers having a private bathroom. But we never had to wait to use one and they were always clean.
