女性専用ゲストハウスTravel Stay Utsunomiya

Handy emergency bed (if you are female) if Nikko is fully booked - as it often is! Utsunomiya is a cheap 40 minute train ride from Nikko station (trains once an hour). Individual bed rather than bunk bed (curtain, not door), and plenty of head room. Useful microwave and toaster in entrance, with stools to sit on, galley style. Lovely bathroom and showers. Utsunomiya is a big city, so you can take the chance to stock up on electricals or food you can't get in Nikko.

Self-check in was a muddle, and I have asked Booking.com to ensure that if a hotel is self check-in, this is clearly written on the original description. I would avoid it unless no choice. Instead of staff, they have security cameras! - horrible. It felt as if Big Brother was watching. The hostel was very warm and there was no natural daylight, so I slept badly. Fairly hard mattress, but not the worst. No space for luggage. Difficult to find from the station, but a kind Japanese lady helped me out.

女性専用のハウスらしく、セキュリティも良くアメニティも充実していた。

壁が薄いので、隣人のいびきや寝息は聞こえるので、宜しければ空いている日は、隣をあけるなどで部屋割りを考えて欲しい。

天井が高いので狭さを感じなかった。 ライトつきの鏡が部屋にあるので身支度が気持ちよくできた。 全体的に清潔で過ごしやすかったです。

l'accès de la gare est rapide moins de 10 min à pied ! Le check-in très facile à faire juste un petit papier dans une boîte aux lettres Le lieu est calme, propre est chaleureux. Ça donne envie de rester ! Le personnel est facilement joignable et à l'écoute pour les demandes ! J'ai trouvé ça sympa le bar à masques avant les douches, et le thé et café en libre services !

Ce qui n'était pas très pratique c'est que c'est marqué "bagagerie" mais il s'agit seulement d'un placard devant la porte et si votre valise est trop grosse elle ne rentre pas donc il faut la laisser dehors avec seulement une petite chaîne... Le distributeur de serviette hygiénique est bien dommage que ce soit payant après c'est quand même bien pratique en cas de dépannage
