Guest House Yakushima

It is SO clean and so convenient!!! Everything you need is there, there so many places you can go from here and close to the bath stop!

Place was clean enough

The host was racist and unhelpful. When I reached the guesthouse, this host asked if I was Chinese. The location has no food places or restaurants around it, you have to purchase food before going to this guesthouse.

Hiro-san gave us a tour of the guest house, and a quick rundown of helpful tourist facts and suggestions. The guesthouse is beautiful and very clean. We were able to get a room with two beds to ourselves with our own key.

If you know Yakushima, and you have no question, just book and come, please don't consider my comment. My words only concern the email exchange I got with the owner, not the house itself.

I was alone in Yakushima in August, looking for a booking only 3 days before. I didn't know the region and I had to ask question for the bus the morning. Their answer was very minimal, no explanation, not a single nice and polite word. I think they was very bored by my questions. I was confuse because their answer was different from Miyanoura office. So I finally decided to not come to avoid any problem the morning with the bus. But it was too late, they validated my booking reservation and I had to pay even if I didn't come. To conclude, I don't know who was right, who was wrong, and that really not the point. I was stressed by the emails. I thought they was very rude. I felt guilty for asking question. I even apologized for asking questions and being confused but they didn't care. So if you are alone traveler a bit confused in Japan, I don't advice you this hotel.

The beds are big and comfy. Comon area has everything you need.
