Bamboo Village Guest House

Stunning and quiet location, beautiful guest house filled with works of arts, close to restaurants/cafés. Located at the top of a hill and surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are comfortable and functional.

Loved this great hotel, excellent location in a beautiful spot slightly elevated over the town, surrounded by greenery and very quiet. We were made very welcome and able to leave our bags earlier than check-in. Nice room with comfy beds and large windows we could open onto the garden with good access to our own bathroom facilities. It’s got loads of character with interesting art and books in the main living room. Loved our stay would definitely come again!

The staff …& the cleanliness . Outstanding. My friend broke her ankle & the staff went out of their way to collect us from the hospital & dropped us at the ferry the next morning .

Feels like home

Bedroom had a slightly musty smell… but didn’t affect us.

Very cute place, we really enjoyed our stay here. Nice in-person welcome at check in with some local recommendations. We had our own toilet & shower (not ensuite) plus access to communal areas and kitchen. There were a couple of other rooms but everyone was very quiet and respectful. Very close to the Honmura Port area with quite a few cafes and restaurants. We rented e-bikes for 2,000 yen each per day from Bamboo Village which was definitely worth doing to explore.

Not a dislike, but worth noting that there's quite a steep driveway up to the property
