Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön, obschon es steil den Han hochgeht😅 Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend👍

Les futons de notre chambre étaient posés sur des lits à ressorts en mauvais état! Heureusement il y avait la place pour dormir par terre. La pente pour arriver à l’accueil : impossible pour moi de monter ma valise mais notre hôte est venu les chercher en voiture !

Great location, 5 minute walk to the Naoshima New Museum of Art and other art installations. Rented an ebike from them and was able to get to the attractions on the either side of the island. The house is located in a quiet area. It was nice to have a kitchen available to make tea and a nice living room to lounge with other guests. The staff was always quick to answer any questions.

The room had a damp smell. And though the room was supposed to have a private toilet and shower outside the room other guests used the shower too. It should be clear to all guests that only one shower/toilet is assigned per room.

We liked the homely character, the lovely surrounding garden. The owner was very helpful, booked us a restaurant before arrival and was thorough in his welcome to the guest house.

The distance between the bedroom and the shower was a little too far.

バスを降りてから地元の方にバンブーハウスまでの道を訊ねたときに『いいところにあっていい宿だよ』と言われました。 高まる期待を胸にバンブーハウスに向かいました。口コミにあった心臓破りの坂には参りましたが、ロケーションがとても良かったです。 アート作品が所々にあるところも、直島らしさがあって楽しめました。部屋は全体的に可愛くまとまっていました。 特に良かったのはオーナーさんがとても親切なところです！チェックインの時にこちらの質問全てに対して丁寧にプラスαの情報まで教えてくれました。 おかげでスムーズにアート作品巡りができました。夜ご飯の予約を相談したら、お店に予約してくださいました。ありがとうございました！

部屋に湿気があったのかむわっとした感じがありました。

We were given a room with en-suite bath, which we ReALLY appreciated. it was nice to get all the towels for our 3 day stay at once, no need for housekeeping. Renting bikes at the property was very convenient.

There wasn’t a table with reasonable chairs to eat at, the tiny table in our room could barely hold coffee and yogurt. It would have been nice to get acquainted with other travelers over breakfast, as we did at other guest houses. Shopping options and getting access to food on the island are VERY limited, we would have liked to have been warned to buy stuff BEFORE getting on the ferry, not when we arrived at the property and were far from 7-11. We were not told about the COOP where we could also shop. Restaurants are few, close early, and some don’t operate every day - and many require reservations. It wld have been helpful to have been given the QR code for local restaurants to make things easier - instead we found out about this on our own at the end of our trip. The driveway is VERY steep - as they warned.
