"Nice place to stay for a night and very helpful host"

Good location to town. A few restaurants. Very helpful host with recommendations especially for dinner (thank you for the warning to reserve in advance). I had a room with private shower - was tiny but functional.

The walk to the property from the street may be a bit challenging for some or if they have luggage as it is very steep.

Everything about this guest house was great! The staff are so kind and helpful. The room and shared space was comfortable. The staff gave us recommendations for restaurants and was available immediately when we arrived earlier than expected. The area is so lovely, the fairy lights outside the property and the decor in the living room were so cute!

"Unique, comfortable, and memorable!"

What a unique and exceptional place to stay! We were a family group of 9, and it was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, and beautiful art pieces everywhere. Great staff, with great communication. Location is amazing. Walkable to any restaurant or museum in Honmura.

Es ist um wunderschönes kleines Haus mit netter Atmosphäre und einem schönem Zimmer, leider etwas kühl und das Bad/WC so eng - kaum möglich sich irgendwie zu bewegen. Es hat sicher viel japanisches, was ich sehr mag. Leider muss man/frau den Weg zum Haus ziemlich hochsteigen, etwas schwierig und sehr unbequem. Sicherlich keine Unterkunft für ältere aber noch fitte Frauen oder Männer. Leider gab es im Ort keine Möglichkeit zu essen oder auch einzukaufen. Das guesthouse bietet leider auch garnichts an!!! Nett, aber die Umstände am 25. Dezember eher sehr schlecht und für mich nicht gerade gastfreundlich. Alles okay - ich musste wegen eines Unfalls direkt „hungrig“ wieder abreisen. Ich liebe Naoshima, komme zurück, aber sicherlich nicht an diesen Platz!! Für mich ist das eine ehrliche Bewertung.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Village Guest house. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was in a great location for exploring the excellent art galleries on Noashima. I highly recommend it.
