Location and quiteness of the place. Very friendly staff helped to get us there easily and to provide all information to get around Naoshima confortably.

Nothing comes to mind.

Location of place was on a hill and so had a beautiful view from its windows. We liked the size of our room, as unlike most hotel rooms, we had space to lay our suitcases on the floor and open them. In the common area, they had had a toaster oven and microwave to heat up any food that you buy. There was also a fridge to store any food that you buy requiring refrigeration.

Bathroom (toilets and showers) are separate from your room. We had room A and so our toilet was right across the hall from our room. The sink to wash our hands was outside of the toilet, but in an area where people enter the Bamboo Village Guest House and so don't be surprised if people are coming in the entrance behind you while you are brushing your teeth! Likewise, our shower was at the opposite end of the entrance to the building, so you have to go through the sitting area, kitchen and sinks for other guests to get to your shower. It actually isn't as bad, as we initially thought, as you do get used to it. The other 2 rooms that we could see in the guest house have showers, closer to their rooms. As well, for those with mobility issues, it may be a bit of a hike to come up the driveway to get to the guest house. Again, after a few days, you will get use to it!

Beautiful cozy guesthouse overlooking Naoshima. A bit of an adventure to get up the hill, but so worth it! Cozy beds, nice facilities. So close to the Art houses and E-bike rental was great for the other museums. Would 100% come back! Thank you! ありがとうございます
