"Cosy guesthouse with shared facilities."

Cosy house with a beautiful view, plenty of facilities. We enjoyed the rented bikes to tour around the island, you can easily do the steep slopes around the Benesse area with them. We enjoyed the art, also inside the house.

The town itself is a bit sleepy and you have to make sure to reserve a restaurant for dinner. To get to the entrance, the slope is indeed steep, but quite short and in return you get an amazing view. The beds are not as soft as we are used to in our country. You share the house with other guests and walls are not sound proof. We did not have problems with this as other guests were really respectful.

"Would recommend the guest house to have the experience of Naoshima early and late I the day when there are few tourists"

The small guest house (3 rooms) is somewhat quirky, but it allowed us to stay on Naoshima (where there are limited reasonably priced accommodations). The hosts were friendly and took care of making excellent dinner reservations for us during our stay.

Though manageable, the shower for our unit was a short walk through the kitchen area.
