The bed, so comfortable and clean

Dorm rooms and amenities were incredibly clean and the rooms and bunks were very spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Location on Booking is slightly askew to the actual location. While it is very close, I still spent time trying to find where I was meant to check in.

Orange No Kaze (オレンジの風) is situated in a quiet residential area near Imabari Port. It is approximately a 12-minute walk (900 meters) from Imabari JR Train Station. I stayed for one night after cycling 74 km from Onomichi and departed the next morning. The check-in reception is located next door, directly beside the accommodation. Initially, I thought it was on the second floor, but that space is occupied by a karaoke bar. The receptionist was an elderly lady who spoke only Japanese but was very friendly. The dormitory and shower facilities were spacious and clean. There is also a rooftop patio on the 6th floor that offers a view of the Kurushima-Kaikyō Bridge.

Due to the dormitory being located beneath a karaoke bar, loud singing could be heard near midnight. Complimentary earplugs were provided, which helped somewhat, though they did not fully eliminate the noise.
