"Avoid."

Arrived to find the hotel was being renovated. No common or seating areas available. Owner was incredibly grumpy, and seemed annoyed when asked to provide basics like a blanket for the bed and drinking water. No drinking water, tea, coffee available - not expecting a huge breakfast buffet or multiple meals, but no way to get even a basic drink, and nowhere to sit apart from inside the room.

"Good value/price rest, directly on the beach, for low-budget backpackers"

Location right on the beach, with simple access to the sea. Helpful and caring host. Pleasant terrace with beach rest beds.

If the AC is on in multiple rooms, in room no 4 you can hear strong and loud noise and vibrations of AC units behind the wall (Fortunately it happened for only one night.)

"Quite good value, nice place by the beach"

Manager is really friendly and helpful. Very close to an excellent Indian restaurant. Short walk from the Fort, a bit of a longer one from the bus station. Beach outside is quite nice and makes it very easy to organise diving trips.

No wifi, if that is important to you.
