Dutch Bay Beach Cottages

Perfect location, right on a beautiful beach with lovely covered terrace. The bedroom was simple but clean, sheets and towels are provided on request. There is no food or drinks available, but we knew this, so we did not expect it. There are a couple of hotels nearby where you can have breakfast/meals. The owner is very friendly and recommended a few places. We loved the location, the beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear.

It´s right on the beach. You can snorkel on the right part of the beach. The owner is very nice.

The room was nothing special but quite good. The main advantage is the ocean right next to the terrace. One of the best beaches on the northern side of Sri Lanka.

Beware of the low beam on the terrace!

The Dutch bay beach is very nice and clean and Cristal clear water, we enjoyed it well.. also the rooms were good and clean

but we did not like the dining area because lot of dogs and cats were troubling us when we were having meals

Property is on a clean beach edge although there were various boats out in front. The location is great for seeing the Temples , Fort, and Church. The employee tried very hard to sort things out, he is the treasure at this place There was a kettle available so you could boil water, make tea etc.

The break in the bathroom wall meant I could hear VERY clearly the men next door doing their business in the toilet. I was privy to all their LOUD conversation until midnight then again at 3:30 in the morning. On the 2nd night I was the only guest and the employee finished at 5pm. No staff on the premises. There was no obvious way to get help if I needed it. No 24 hrs reception as indicated on booking.com write up.

Very nice terrace with a great view. The host is very friendly and helpful. A nice coral reef is just 10 min walk along the beach. Everything is very clean and the beds were comfortable.

There was a beeping sound in the main room which went on all night. We didn't mind too much and it didn't affect our sleep but we heard it a bit quieter in our room still.
