I arrived one hour prior to check in time but was allocated my room immediately and after a long drive this was extremely welcome

I would have like to see a dinner menu and price list available in the room

Spacious king size room with lovely views Lovely food and drink at reasonable price Quiet, tranquil location just off the motorway Polite, friendly and helpful staff Overall a great weekend

"Cressfield"

Lost count of the number of times we ve stayed here as it's so convenient (just off motorway) travelling from the Highlands to Manchester as an overnight break to relax b4 joining motorway again the next day. Staff are always welcoming & the food is brilliant( not your usual pub grub seen in so many places today).

The house itself is gorgeous, and couldn't recommend the restaurant more - truly delicious. A very solid stay in Ecclefechan.
