Super nice tradicional Japanese house

L accueil du propriétaire était absolument parfait. Il nous a même conduit au départ du nakasendo le lendemain !

Great property in the heart of a small town. A nice kitchen with a record player and an amazing assortment of vinyl to choose from. Massive house with plenty of rooms to choose from, and having parking was a bonus.

The bedrooms are upstairs and the toilet is downstairs. This made it difficult to use the restroom in the middle of the night.

We hadden het hele huis voor onszelf. Het is een erg mooi en traditioneel Japans huis, wat de ervaring super bijzonder maakt. We werden erg goed ontvangen en de host was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk! 😊

Beautiful, old house restored by owner who is a lovely man. He was very attentive and helpful. We had the entire house to ourselves. Very spacious and comfortable. The house is in a nice area of the Kiso valley, very close to hiking trails and water falls and a few minutes drive to the Nakasenda trail.

Assi is such a wonderful host with an even better taste in music. We really enjoyed his music collection and he was so helpful. The place is a really incredible 120-year old Japanese house that we felt very lucky to enjoy even if only for a night!
