Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour

It was very clean even though the furniture was pretty basic. I loved the balcony, it had a nice view to the river and sometimes you were able to see monkeys.

Sometimes it was a bit hard to communicate with one another. For example I booked the orang Utan tour with them because I wanted to start early, one day before they said someone else is going to pick me up and they'll start later. The tour in the end (with Jerry and Johnny from Garden Inn) was amazing! Def. amazing people who went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us! :) And I can't recommend the airport shuttle. Go with public transport. It's way cheaper and an experience itself.

Fantastic value for money with good location close to the Bat Caves and start of the jungle treks. Many restaurants and a few bars nearby too. The accomodation is basic but this is most definitely reflected in the price and with so much to do in the town all you need is somewhere to sleep and shower. Putra and his wife were amazing hosts and Putra helped me with every part of my trip including bus transfers, taking me on his bike to ATM and organising my 2 day jungle trek. You MUST do the overnight trek through him. This has been one of the highlights of my trip.

Be aware the shower is cold but that is the case with a lot of the places in the town.

Amazing from the get go. We were greeted at the bus station and escorted to the guesthouse, where Putra and his family welcomed us with a drink and all the information we needed about our trek. We booked the two day one night trek although will definitely be back for a longer trek! Putra goes out of his way to ensure every guest receives the best experience. The room is incredibly cheap and for the price there are no complaints especially with a river view. The trek was incredible and Putra enthusiasm and passion is what makes it. The food was great and vibes always high. He even dropped us at the bus at 5:45am in the rain so we could get to our next destination!

The accommodation is super cheap and the location is perfect, the owners will even pick you up from the bus station if you get to Bukit Lawang with a local bus

Super Clean ans comfy bed and room Extreme tasty and cheap food Friedly staff And the apartment is directly next to the river so you can jump in and cool down with locals haha Also you MUST book the Jungle Trek Tour with the Owner Putra and his team. We saw already after 30mins orangutans and saw in the 2days soooo many more and other animals like the Thomas leaf and the white handed gibbon !!! Just crazy Others don't have similar experience! Also we went deeper to the jungle as others and he is a real local guide while others sometimes are not born in the town. So more authentic and expierenced guide is nearly not possible to get hah

I really enjoyed my stay here. The owners are very friendly and I had a warm welcome when I arrived. Putra’s wife cooked diner for me even though I arrived very late. Also, Putra helped me a lot for organising my trip to Bukit Lawang and to get to my next destination (Toba Lake). He was so reactive anytime I was contacting him, and I really appreciated it. Putra can organise for you the jungle trek to see the Orang-outans. I did it with him, and I absolutely loved it, it was such a great experience!! He knows a lot about the jungle and is very good at finding the Orang-Outans or any other species living in this beautiful jungle. We saw 3 different mothers with their kid, and we even saw the alpha male! You should definitely it with him if you come here. Finally, the room is very basic but clean and comfortable (no hot water).

we really enjoyed our stay here, Putra and his family were so welcoming! we had an amazing jungle day hike too, putra was an incredible guide and we saw orangutans and gibbons! can’t recommend more highly

Good location in the Center of Bukit Lawang. The owner is very friendly and happy to help you find things to do in Bukit Lawang. They also offer trekking experiences, although I did not do this with them. Perfect for centrally located, bare bones accommodation.

Good cheap stay in Bukit Lawang, room had a stand fan and a nice view of the river

Location is great. In the center of village, with a view to the river from balcony.

Sometimes noizy, but if it's a party in some cafe - it's noizy for every homestay there.
