Holly Cottages

Location- near to car park and close to town.

Only that the bedside lights didn’t work, could just have been the bulbs.

Good location, the outdoor area a haven in this very busy town.

Location is brilliant in the centre of Bowness. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Being able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room was great. Hairdryer and iron and ironing board were also provided. Would go back again

Fabulous location, lovely airy room with great views

We loved the warm welcome we received. The room was very clean and tidy. In the centre of everything so walking distance to shops and pubs. Everything we needed was in the room.

Would have been nice to have breakfast included but we understand why it’s not as such a good price for room only.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Holly Cottage. The cottage was spotless, well maintained, and full of charm, making it a perfect base for exploring Bowness and the surrounding Lake District. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and they made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet only a short distance from local attractions, shops, and restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend away and would happily recommend Holly Cottage to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Lakes. We’d definitely love to return.

Location - right next to large car park and very near facilities and attractions: lake/boat trips, tourist info, Beatrix Potter attraction, The Victoria Wood Theatre, shops, cafes etc I slept well and the shower was good. Adapter plug near bed was very useful for charging phone etc

Front door in need of some TLC and entrance not very attractive but my room was fine for my one night stay.
