Hostal Cattleya

Lovely location, quiet but only a 5min walk to main restaurant area. Room was exactly as advertised and was very comfortable. Loved the roof top terrace.

Our room was spacious and bright, with AC and some storage space. There was access to a fridge in the common area. There was additional common space on the rooftop with hammocks and clothes drying lines. A good breakfast was served there with some variations every day. The hostal was on the edge of town but only 5 minutes walk from the front.

The electric shower was never more than tepid. Rooms need to be chosen carefully from photos on Booking as some had internal or small high windows. The courtyard area was rather shabby.

Fantastic place a mere 5 mins walk away from the San Cristóbal seafront and town centre. Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds, a great included breakfast and very friendly and helpful owners. We felt at home!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I loved the location, being at the end of the main area, so quiet at night. It was just a short walk away though and I'm sure I had more intimate wildlife moments nearer to the hostel. The room was large and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic. My favourite part was the hammock area from where you could see and hear the sea and the sea lions, while chillaxing with a cuppa.

Excellent breakfast, started as early as you needed it. Very helpful staff. Great communal outdoor area. Short walk to everything.

Very nice, super friendly and helpful host. He was communicative and shared the interesting history of the islands with us. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Hostel is located within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the airport and 5 minutes walking distance from the main street with all the bars and restaurants. And 100 meters from the hostel there was a small spot (near military base) where you could see all: sea lions, iguanas, pelicans and blue footed boobies, so you don't even have to go far to see them all.

Just a suggestion: maybe a couple more clothes hangers in the room
