Well laid out room

Room cramped

I regularly visit the property when working at the University of Sussex. It's relatively close, and the facilities are generally in good woking order.

More than 60 pounds for a single room of not even 10 square meters is too much, in my opinion. Also, the shower jet was not in perfect working order. Before the same room was between 40 and 50 pounds, which is fair, in my opinion.

Nothing.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The room had no fan or any proper cooling facilities, making it extremely uncomfortable. The facilities provided were far below what was expected. The service was poor, and the overall standard of the accommodation was unacceptable. We leave the hotel 2:30AM early morning and we stay in the car because no fan nothing no one pickup the call on the reception.

It was close proximity to my conference location

The rooms were very small, it’s advised as a double and there were barely any spaces for move around or even drop my box. The rooms were very hot, the fans were non functional and there were no telephones in the room to call reception or make requests. The rooms were facing the road, which meant that it was too noisy but the lack of air circulation also meant we couldn’t close the window. I didn’t get any sleep and I think at some point I was crying out of frustration.

Very clean , and comfortable bed. Staff are very helpful
