Friendly staff, beautifully clean room and facilities.

The noise levels are quite high due to the nearby busy main road. Additionally, since the pub is located on the ground floor, there may be late-night activity from patrons. If you are looking for a quieter environment, especially after a long workday and needing to wake up early, it might be advisable to consider a more remote location.

The room look very nice Very clean .

The outside of the pub needs painting and tidying up as everything looks tired it’s a very basic plan pub. The bed was very uncomfortable due to the springs coming through the mattress, the tv had no signal for anything not even the internet, it was very noisy with the music next door and people outside shouting, it’s a shame because the room was very clean and decorated really well , would we stay again ! No not really

The rooms had recently been refurbished and were very comfortable, great shower, they are very small & we would not have been comfortable staying more than one night. The staff were friendly & accommodating, particularly the chef who prepared an excellent breakfast with no fuss even though we had not pre ordered.

The outside areas had not been maintained & were not clean, the eating area was inside the pub, again not well maintained requires refurbishing. The hotel rooms are very small.

The location was perfect for my needs. Close to the trail marathon start. The room was comfortable and clean. There was no fuss. Easy check in and departure. I would definitely stay again if needing to be in that location.

The music on a Saturday night was loud, however I was warned and the band did stop promptly at 11:00. And the room was lovely and quiet other than this.
