Drangar Country Guesthouse

A beautiful designed property in a beautiful setting as well. The hosts (Leana & Knutur) were very responsive to any questions we had and are very welcoming. The room was very comfortable & the breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have had more than 1 night there!

Design accomodation for those with an eye and passion for the style. Very clean! Kitchen can be used and it is lovely! Amazing use of materials. View from the main structure just unique

Eigentlich rundherum alles....viele Inputs über Island erfahren und Tipps für Ausflüge. Frühstück, Lage, Unterkunft selber.....alles perfekt - danke nochmals. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen...

My wife and I spent 12 days driving the ring road around Iceland. Drangar County Guesthouse was the last of our accommodations (except the airport hotel before early flight home). Of the 8 places we stayed, this was by far the best. Every place we stayed was great but Drangar was exceptional. The hosts greeted us upon arrival and gave us a wonderful welcome. They took the time to show us around the property and told us about the history and process of transforming from farm buildings into this amazing guesthouse. Our room exceeded expectations and made our last two nights that much more comfortable. They hosted breakfast and provided excellent recommendations and tips for our time on Snaefellsnes Peninsula. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever make it back to Iceland. I cannot express how much we loved our time at Dranger Country Guesthouse! Thank you!

I cannot think of a single thing that we didn't like about this property. It was perfect.
