Property Notes

The Volcano Huts Thorsmork is in a remote location, only accessible by hiking or special busses during 1 May to 30 September. During winter from 1 October to 30 April, transportation by super jeep is required and guests can be picked up from Seljalandsfoss waterfall or Reykjavik. There is a car park at the Seljalandsfoss pick-up point. After booking, please contact the property via e-mail for directions and additional arrival details. Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are not included. You can rent them on site or bring your own. Please note that the former items are included when booking a room package.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

Zeer vriendelijk en internationaal personeel. De locatie en omgeving is adembenemend, je kunt er de prachtigste wandelingen maken. De accommodatie (in mijn geval de gemende hut) was schoon en licht, alhoewel de slaapkamers best wel krap waren. Ik heb de kamer met niet meer dan 1 andere reiziger gedeeld en dat kwam wel goed uit, met alle bagage was de kamer met z'n tweeën al best vol (er kunnen 8 man in 1 kamer, en er zijn 2 slaapkamers in de hut). Verder was er geen Wi-Fi in deze hut en dat beviel mij erg goed! Ik kwam er voor de natuur en de rust, dus dat kwam perfect uit. Bij de receptie is er wel Wi-Fi.

Het enige was een beetje tegen viel was het eten daar, het was niet heel bijzonder lekker en ik was er ook een keer niet zo lekker van. Maar er zijn wel keukentjes in de hutten en publieke keukens in een bijgebouw, dus je kunt je eigen eten meenemen en daar koken.

Nic. Nedostal jsem se tam. Komunikace s ubytováním nulová. Nebylo možné se na ubytování dostat kvůli rozvodněným řekám a speciální doprava nebyla k dispozici. Ubytování odmítá se mnou situaci řešit.
