Vespri Rooms are located in a lively piazza right in the beating heart of party Palermo. Location-wise it is pretty central to all the main tourist attractions of old town Palermo. There are nice bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Accommodation is basic and is a restoration from a much older mercantile style property. The decor is a nod to decadence and has much of what you need for a short stay. Marco the manager is very friendly and very helpful. I recommend you reach out to him directly before going. Our flight arrived in late at night and Marco was fast to reply and arranged a reasonably priced taxi from the airport which for us was a godsend. The balcony was a great place to people watch, but the railing was wobbly and I wouldn't recommend leaning against it. There are saunas in each room, which is a strange addition given how hot it was outside.

We booked two rooms. Our kids were in a courtyard facing room and it was quiet and comfortable. Our room faced out onto the piazza and whilst also comfortable, it was a riot of sound and music all night long. The hotel provided foam ear buds and they were an effective antidote but they did not cancel out the noise completely. Hot water was an issue, which I figured out on the last night (you need to push the dial completely as far as possible one direction, otherwise the water was cold)
